Knowes Housing Association was formed on 1st March 1998 following a large scale voluntary transfer of 1,115 properties in the Faifley and Duntocher area of Clydebank from the former Scottish Homes. Knowes currently owns and manages 1030 properties and acts as factor to a further 694. Knowes is a charitable registered social landlord managed by a Committee made up of local tenants and home owners.

Hillhead Housing Association 2000 is a community housing association located in the Hillhead area of Kirkintilloch which grew out of a bid for New Housing Partnership funding submitted by East Dunbartonshire Council to the Scottish Executive in December 1998.
Following a successful ballot of tenants in September 2002, the 863 houses transferred in June 2004.
Hillhead lies to the north east of Kirkintilloch and was formerly noted for its iron and coal production. Today it is an established community of approximately 1500 homes comprising mainly Local Authority flats and houses with 140 rented properties owned by Caledonia Housing Association.

Govan Housing Association has a rich history of development and innovation. Founded in 1971 under the name Central Govan Housing Association, Govan Housing Association was the first community-based housing provider, leading the way for social housing provision in Scotland.
