At Breaking Barriers we welcome refugees into meaningful employment with one-to-one advice and guidance, education, and training. We currently provide support to refugees over the age of 18 years across London, Greater Manchester and Birmingham.

We are a small but proactive charity based in Evesham & covering Pershore & all surrounding villages. We support all those seeking sanctuary in our area. We have a small Support Hub where we distribute clothing, SIM cards & other goods, provide information & advice & refer on to other relevant agencies. We provide several different levels of ESOL weekly & also Maths lessons for those wanting to access further or higher education. We assist with obtaining volunteering opportunities & employment where that is allowed. We support people to obtain housing, claim benefits & access bank accounts once Leave to Remain is in place. We organise social activities & outings & support children & young people to access & progress in education.

Specialised, long-term guidance and support to asylum seekers and refugees with teaching qualifications and/or experience for job search, professional re-qualification and entry/re-entry into Higher Education. We work closely with employers to identify opportunities for our clients to undertake work shadow placements in order to gain UK work experience and we provide specialised employability and empowerment support using our knowledge of the barriers and challenges facing those entering the UK workforce from abroad.
