Linstone Housing Association

Linstone Housing Association was set up in 1998 following a stock transfer from Scottish Homes. With around 1500 properties, we are one of the largest housing associations in Renfrewshire and most of our houses are in Linwood and Johnstone – hence the name.

In addition to being a landlord, we also act as estate manager to around 2000 owner occupiers and provide a factoring service to approximately 480 owners.

The Association is a not-for-profit organisation which means that any surplus we make is reinvested back into our homes, communities and services. We are registered with the Scottish Housing Regulator and run by a voluntary Board. We are also a registered Charity and an Industrial & Provident Society.

Linthouse Housing Association

At Linthouse Housing Association we have various types of properties available ranging from main door properties, to pre1919 tenements, amenity housing and multi-storey flats, available in the Linthouse, Langlands and Drumoyne area of Govan.

Lister Housing Co-operative Ltd

Lister is a small city centre housing co-operative dedicated to providing good quality homes in our historic environment, right in the heart of the Old Town of Edinburgh.

Lister is Scotland’s first housing co-operative registered for funding and support following the 1974 Housing Act.

We’re proud of our track record and history. We may be small in size but we aim to be big on community and service.

Lochaber Housing Association

Lochaber Housing Association is a registered charitable housing association, with a stock of over 700 properties across Lochaber with a significant new build development programme. Our aim is to help sustain and develop thriving communities through the provision of good quality, affordable housing opportunities and services across Lochaber.

Lochalsh & Skye Housing Association

The Lochalsh and Skye Housing Association was set up in 1983 as an independent non-profit making housing organisation to develop, manage and maintain housing for rent.

Since then there has been a tremendous growth in the size and the geographical spread of the Association’s own housing stock and we have considerably extended the range of housing solutions we provide to meet the needs of a wide range of clients.

As the Association has evolved, we have adopted new and innovative approaches to meeting our objectives and we are totally committed to working in partnership with individuals, groups and organisations for the benefit of all concerned.

Lochfield Park Housing Association

Lochfield Park Housing Association is a not for profit Registered Social Landlord operating in the Lochend area of Easterhouse.

The Housing Association has been at the forefront of regeneration in the Lochend area since its inception in 1993.

Our main aim is to:

“Contribute to sustaining the local community of Lochend and promote social inclusion”.

We also aim to contribute to the regeneration of Easterhouse through the provision of well-managed, high-quality housing and housing services within the means of people in housing need.

Loretto Housing Association (Part of Wheatley Group)

Manor Estates Housing Association

Manor Estates was established in 1995 following the transfer of over 900 houses in Edinburgh from Scottish Homes. Since then we have built and acquired a number of new houses across the City.

We are a charitable Housing Association and our aim is to provide good quality housing and services which help improve people’s lives and their local communities.

Maryhill Housing Association

Maryhill Housing is a charitable, community-based housing association operating in Maryhill and Ruchill in north west Glasgow. Our main role is to improve, build, manage and maintain homes. In 2017 we celebrated our 40th anniversary.

We have always been very proud of our communities and do much more than simply collecting the rent.  We undertake a significant amount of regeneration activity to ensure Maryhill and Ruchill are great places to live.

We own over 3,100 homes including tenements, retirement housing and multi-storey apartments. Most of our properties are for rent however we also develop some homes for shared equity.

Melville Housing Association

Melville Housing is a charitable organisation that supports local communities with high quality affordable homes and services. We are committed to meeting local housing needs and own and manage properties across Midlothian, South Lanarkshire, North Lanarkshire, East Lothian and Edinburgh. Our mission statement is:

“Providing quality sustainable homes and developing thriving communities that people are proud to live and work in”

With more than 2,000 properties we are Midlothian’s largest Registered Social Landlord and have an ongoing development programme. We also participate in the Scottish Government’s Mortgage to Rent scheme, providing help to owners who are in danger of losing their homes.

Milnbank Housing Association

Milnbank Housing Association was founded in 1975 and is a Community Based Housing Association operating in the East End of Glasgow.

The Association is a non-profit making organisation registered as a Friendly Society and also registered with the Scottish Housing Regulator, who has a supervising and monitoring role in the Association’s activities. In June 2008 the Association became a registered charity.

As a registered Housing Association Milnbank Housing Association’s main function is the provision and management of affordable rented housing for people in need.  The Association manages a stock of over 3,000 units.

Molendinar Park Housing Association

Molendinar Park Housing Association provides homes for rent in the Bellgrove, Bridgeton, Castlemilk and Dalmarnock areas of Glasgow. It also provides low cost home ownership opportunities through Shared Ownership and Shared Equity.

We currently own 498 flats and provides factoring services to 250 owner-occupiers.  The Association also manages 84 shared ownership properties.

We are a charitable, not-for-profit organisation owned by local organisations, representing residents, and individuals with an interest in our work.

Muirhouse Housing Association

We are a community-based housing association providing high quality social housing and excellent customer service in Muirhouse in North Edinburgh.

Here at Muirhouse Housing Association, we have 570 high-quality homes in the North of Edinburgh. Most of them are located within Muirhouse but we also have one block of flats situated in Wester Drylaw.

A total of 506 flats and houses are rented out via social rental and include amenity and wheelchair accessible housing.  Four properties are leased out for supported accommodation to ‘Carr Gomm,’ and ‘The Action Group.’

Additionally, we have 60 mid-market rental properties which are managed through our subsidiary company, Muirhouse Homes.

New Gorbals Housing Association

New Gorbals Housing Association was set up by local people who had a strong vision of how they wanted the Association to operate. This vision is reflected in our values and objectives.

Our social rent page tells you how to apply for a home with us. We manage around 2,500 social housing properties.

We have a small number of mid-market rent properties through our subsidiary company New Gorbals Property Management.

NG Homes

ng homes was established in 1976 as a community controlled housing association, originally formed by a group of residents who wanted to save their homes from demolition.

The Association has grown and developed into a well respected organisation that makes a positive difference to the lives of people in North Glasgow and now provides around 5,400 homes for rent and factoring service for over 1,200 owners across the area specifically in Springburn, Balornock, Possilpark and Parkhouse.

North View Housing Association

North View is a community controlled housing association located in the Windlaw area of Castlemilk, on the southernmost boundary of the city of Glasgow.

Our ‘area of operation’ is compact and contained within the area formed by the Dougrie Strip to the north, Castlemilk Drive to the east, Ardencraig Road to the south, and Birgidale Road to the west.

The vast majority of our properties are mainstream rental, but we also rent properties to organisations that cater for people with particular housing needs, and have developed a small number of flats and houses for the owner occupation market.

Oak Tree Housing Association.

Oak Tree Housing Association (OTHA) is a leading provider of social housing in Inverclyde. We own 1960 homes, provide services to over 1,000 homeowners, and have an annual turnover of £12m.

Over the years, we have successfully completed over 60 house-building projects and now have 1960 properties worth in the region of £97m. Around 83% of these new homes were provided for social rent, with the remainder offered for low cost home ownership and outright sale on a shared equity basis. We have also invested in making our neighbourhoods attractive places to live, and 82% of our tenants are satisfied with our approach.
