Grampian Housing Association

Established in 1975, Grampian is now a leading housing association based in the North East of Scotland. Through direct development and stock transfer, the Association now provides services to over 3,500 households.

Independently and through a variety of partnerships, homes are provided to meet the housing needs of a wide range of client groups, including single people, couples, families, older people and people with special needs.

Greater Manchester Tenants Union

Greater Manchester Tenants Union is a democratic, member-led union, working across the 10 boroughs of Greater Manchester. We organise and represent our members in the private and social rented sector. We fight for safe, secure and affordable housing for everyone.

Hanover Housing Association

Hanover has been housing and supporting people in Scotland for more than forty years.
Our core purpose is to help older people feel safe and secure at home and to live fulfilling and independent lives. This sums up our commitment to housing for life.
We provide and manage a wide range of housing and services, mainly for older people. We currently manage more than 5,000 homes throughout Scotland.
We provide a range of housing and tenure types to meet the different support needs of older people, allowing them to retain their independence within a local community and enjoy as much privacy or company as they wish.

Hawthorn Housing Co-operative

Hawthorn Housing Co-operative is a fully mutual housing co-operative that owns and manages 364 homes in Possilpark, Glasgow. We are managed by a voluntary Management Committee of 9 tenants who employ staff to carry out the day to day work of the Co-operative.

The Co-operative exists to “lead the creation of a community with excellent homes where people are proud to live”.  We aim to provide good quality affordable rented housing for future generations and to ensure the Co-operative remains a strong, stable and independent registered social landlord.

Hebridean Housing Association

We are a charitable, not-for-profit housing association registered with the Scottish Housing Regulator, governed by a Board of up to 15 members and we manage over 2200 rentable properties across the Outer Hebrides.

We engage with tenants on key decisions through membership of tenants on our Board and working closely with the Western Isles Housing Associations Communities Forum and the Tenant Participation Advisory Service (Scotland).

Hillcrest Homes

Established in 1967, Hillcrest Homes is one of Scotland’s largest housing associations.
We have over 6000 good quality homes at affordable rents across Dundee, Edinburgh, Angus, Perthshire, Fife and Aberdeen.
We aim to foster positive communities and improve the lives of our tenants and customers.

Hillhead Housing Association

Hillhead Housing Association 2000 is a community housing association located in the Hillhead area of Kirkintilloch which grew out of a bid for New Housing Partnership funding submitted by East Dunbartonshire Council to the Scottish Executive in December 1998.

Following a successful ballot of tenants in September 2002, the 863 houses transferred in June 2004.

Hillhead lies to the north east of Kirkintilloch and was formerly noted for its iron and coal production. Today it is an established community of approximately 1500 homes comprising mainly Local Authority flats and houses with 140 rented properties owned by Caledonia Housing Association.

Homes for Life Housing Partnership

Homes For Life Housing Partnership was founded in 1998 to provide affordable homes throughout East Lothian, funded under the New Housing Partnership Initiative. We are a Registered Limited Company, a Registered Charity, and a Registered Social Landlord.

We are a small organisation, with around 300 properties, most of which are rented with a small proportion being low cost home ownership.

They are in towns and villages in East Lothian: Aberlady, Athlestanford, Cockenzie, Dunbar, East Linton, Elphinstone, Garvald, Gifford, Gladsmuir, Gullane, Haddington, Innerwick, Longniddry, Macmerry, North Berwick, Ormiston, Stenton, West Barns and Whittingehame.

Horizon Housing Association

We are a social landlord that provides affordable housing and services across central Scotland.

We believe all members of society are equal and everyone has something to contribute and are committed to supporting the development of diverse communities, which includes disabled people.

Established in 1988, Horizon was the first Registered Social Landlord based in West Lothian.

We’ve since had a vision of providing integrated housing for disabled people in communities where people could participate as ordinary and valued citizens and which supported their independent living.

We have 713 properties across Scotland and we typically have around 50 vacancies each year. Almost all of these are allocated to people who receive support therefore we do not hold a waiting list or accept applications directly.

Kingdom Housing Association

Kingdom Housing Association (KHA) is a Registered Social Landlord with charitable status.

We are based in Fife and work across East Central Scotland, providing housing to meet a wide range of needs, over the years we have developed over 5000 affordable homes, the majority being for social rent, however we also provide Mid Market Rent, affordable housing for sale and factoring services.  Kingdom employs around 380 staff and has a turnover of circa £20m per annum.

In addition, we are involved in a number of initiatives which go beyond the mainstream housing provision, in support of our mission ‘More than a Home’.

KingsMill

KingsMill is a homestead of small cottages offering housing at a very small cost for families from all ethnic backgrounds and support for those recently arrived in the UK. Our strap line is ‘wide open spaces’

Kingsridge Cleddans Housing Association

The Association currently owns and manages 292 properties including 11 shared ownership and 2 supported accommodation properties. The remaining 279 properties are general needs rental properties.

We have over 150 applicants on our housing list and demand for housing greatly exceeds the supply of housing which becomes available for let.

Applicants should therefore be aware that we are unable to meet the needs, demands and aspirations of all applicants on our housing list.

Knowes Housing Association

Knowes Housing Association was formed on 1st March 1998 following a large scale voluntary transfer of 1,115 properties in the Faifley and Duntocher area of Clydebank from the former Scottish Homes. Knowes currently owns and manages 1030 properties and acts as factor to a further 694. Knowes is a charitable registered social landlord managed by a Committee made up of local tenants and home owners.

Lanarkshire Housing Association

Formed in 1978, Lanarkshire Housing Association’s history is based on providing good quality homes for those in housing need and we currently have over 900 affordable dwellings throughout Lanarkshire, ranging from smaller flats to large family dwellings.  

Supporting people to achieve a better future is at the heart of everything we do and we do this in partnership with Local Authorities, the Scottish Government, our tenants, customers and other stakeholders.

Langstane Housing Association

Our aim is to provide quality housing which promotes social inclusion and generates sustainable communities.

Langstane Housing Association is a Registered Social Landlord and a charity. We were founded in 1977 to provide homes and services for single people who had limited opportunities to secure affordable rented homes in the private sector.

Over 40 years later we are meeting that need and more. Our stock is growing and changing to provide good quality family homes at reasonable cost.

We manage over 2,886 properties throughout Aberdeen city, Aberdeenshire and Moray.

Larkfield Housing Association

We are a registered social landlord based in Greenock, Inverclyde, which owns and manages 382 properties and provides management services to an additional 566 owners in the Larkfield area.

Our vision is to provide quality, affordable homes and services that meet local needs and support the regeneration of our communities.

We became a partner of the Link group in January 2007, and in addition to the above, we provide management services on Link’s behalf to over 260 tenants and 900 owners in Port Glasgow, Inverclyde.
