We offer advice and support, group social and sporting activities, distribution of quality second-hand household goods and clothes, personal development programmes and English tuition.

New Routes Integration

We run a range of projects that bring people together in an informal and friendly atmosphere to learn new skills and meet new people. Our activities and clubs are practical, creative, hands-on activities.

North Glasgow Integration Network

A network of voluntary and statutory organisations, community groups and individuals assisting asylum seekers, refugees, BME communities and other migrants to access relevant services, information and advice and to feel welcome in their new communities. Additionnal activites include ESOL classes and regular network meetings.

Paiwand Afghan Association

Services to asylum seekers, refugees and migrants: Advice, advocacy and support on housing, access to services, benefits, debt or health. Supported accommodation for unaccompanied minors and youth. Education project targeting disadvantaged children. Mentoring of Young Refugees (one-to-one, group, academic and community support). Mental Health project. Immigration Advice (OISC level 3)

PECAN

Pecan is a community development charity based in Peckham. We work with the local community to help people find a way through seemingly impossible barriers to a better future.

Pollockshields Development Agency

Pollokshields Development Agency was formally established in 1989 and operates as a company limited by guarantee with charitable status providing services in the south side of Glasgow. We have worked with and on behalf of diverse communities within Pollokshields for more than 25 years. Our priorities have always been identification of local needs and the provision of services to meet these needs. We deliver services directly to the communities and also work in partnership with other organisations to deliver specialist services which we cannot deliver with our current resources.

We run several projects also deliver services by partnership working. Our aim remains community regeneration, integration, and cohesion.

Positive Action for Refugees and Asylum Seekers

We are a community-based charity that supports destitute asylum seekers in the Leeds area, offering a drop-in service on Wednesdays at 9:45am.

Revive Manchester

We are an independent community project which provides free practical support, services and advocacy for refugees and people seeking asylum, regardless of race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, age or beliefs.

Routes Collective CIC

Routes exists to create compassionate, joyful and welcoming spaces for learning and growth. We believe that a connected society is a stronger, kinder and more resilient one. Through the Routes Community, we support women with experience of seeking safety in the UK to grow in confidence, build relationships and access opportunities.  Through our Mentoring Programme and Leadership Training, we work across sectors to develop compassionate, purposeful and authentic professional leaders.

The Routes Mentoring Programme is a four-month programme supporting women with experience seeking safety to achieve their personal and professional goals. Over 10 hours of 1:1 mentoring from another woman, mentees will receive support and championing in the areas of education, employment, confidence or communication skills. Mentees will also be invited to join skills workshops and connect with other women on the programme. We use an inclusive definition of the word women, which includes cisgender and transgender women. We also welcome non-binary people who feel comfortable within our work and who have experience of being read as a woman.

Samphire

Our Mission is to improve the lives of people released from immigration detention and experiencing destitution in the UK, and to support the development of well-informed, cohesive and diverse communities in the Dover area and beyond.

SOAS Detainee Support

We offer emotional and practical support that could include help with finding a solicitor or medical expert, bringing toiletries and other essential items, and campaigning alongside people in detention. We do not offer legal advice.

Spark2Life

We are a community-inspired initiative that empowers and advocates for offenders, and those at risk of offending. Through bespoke solutions we transform lives and disrupt the criminal justice narrative.

St Augustine’s Centre

At our vibrant community centre in Halifax, we welcome and support refugees and people seeking asylum.

Working across Calderdale, we give people the practical support they need to rebuild their lives with dignity, and we offer a range of activities that help them feel happier and more connected.

Together we are building a diverse community which challenges injustice and puts the needs and voices of our centre members at the heart of our work.

St Rollox Community Outreach

Two days a week: a drop-in, a shop, classes (basic IT skills, Sewing and ESOL classes). Services (Internet access , creche). Discussion groups (parent-toddler; craft group, men). In-house housing welfare rights officer. Hosting of a food co-operative. Support against destitution and through asylum process. Signposting to other services.

Sufra NW London

Advice and advocacy on benefits, housing, homelessness. Referrals from Food Bank & Community Kitchen. Courses for children/young people: cooking, horticulture, basic budgeting skills. Employability courses for unemployed adults related to the catering industry: cookery skills, work experience and literacy, numeracy and IT modules. Support for refugees and asylum seekers.

The Hummingbird Project

The Hummingbird Project is a community powered clothing bank and community support hub. We provide preloved and new items of adult, baby and children’s clothing, as well as home furnishings, toiletries, work wear, school uniform and baby items such as prams and cots.

UNITY Family Services is Scotland’s first and only dedicated family guidance and support charity aimed specially at the Muslim community. Voices in Exile

We offer practical and legal support including generalist advice and specialist immigration casework. We also offer a weekly food and toiletries bank for those who are destitute, and have a programme of learning and creative activities.
