Women and Children’s Department

Legal advice, representation and support to women and children asylum seekers, refugees, victims of trafficking and those with limited immigration status who have experienced domestic abuse or other violence within the UK. Referrals for help with related issues such as housing, financial support, counselling, and preventing violence.

Women for Refugee Women

We empower refugee and asylum-seeking women to speak out, become leaders and advocate for change. Through English lessons, drama and other activities we support women to build their confidence and skills. Our network helps to combat the isolation faced by women seeking asylum and creates pathways for women to rebuild their lives with dignity.

Women’s Therapy Centre

Individual and group psychotherapy to all women, regardless of sexual orientation, disability, cultural or social background, immigrant status, previous psychatric history or age. Commitment to women whose needs might not otherwise be met elsewhere or who would not usually have access to therapy.

Women’s Therapy Centre

The Women’s Therapy Centre has been offering individual and group psychotherapy to women since 1976. Its access policy ensures that psychotherapy is available to all women, regardless of ability to pay, sexual orientation, disability, cultural or social background, immigrtion status, previous psychiatric history or age.

Women@theWell

Our daily drop in centre is open from 12.30pm until 3.30pm – weekdays Monday – Thursday. We offer nutritious lunch options, alongside other basic needs such as shower and laundry facilities, weather appropriate clothes and toiletries.
