Ruchazie Housing Association

Ruchazie Housing Association is a Community Based Housing Association based in the east end of Glasgow.
We own and manage 225 rented properties.
We are run by voluntary committee members and currently have 5 staff members.

The Association is committed to ensuring that every tenant and other customer has their individual needs recognised, is treated fairly and with respect, and receives fair access to housing and housing services.

Rural Stirling Housing Association

The Association is a not-for-profit organisation formed in 1990 by local people concerned at the lack of affordable homes within the area.

We serve the communities of rural Stirling - that part of the Stirling Council area extending to the north and west of the A9 – an area of around 750 square miles, around half of which falls within Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.

We currently own 669 homes for social rent. We have 11 sharing owners and through our subsidiary Venachar have 6 Mid-Market rent properties which are located in 18 communities throughout the area, stretching as far as Tyndrum and Killin in the north and to Strathblane in the south west, with the small town of Callander roughly in the centre.

Rutherglen & Cambuslang Housing Association

The Association has invested almost £65 million improving and building homes within our community in the last 38 years.

The Association now rents 855 properties in the Rutherglen and Cambuslang area and provides a factoring and ground maintenance service for over 900 owners. The Association continues to be managed by a voluntary, unpaid, management committee made up of local people some of whom are tenants. It employs 18 staff to deal with the day to day running of the organisation.

Sanctuary Scotland provides a range of housing options, from private and shared ownership purchases, to renting social housing accommodation

Scottish Veterans Residences

Scottish Veterans Residences provides supported housing for former members of the UK Armed Forces who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Our services are located in Edinburgh, Dundee and Glasgow.  SVR can offer 127 en-suite rooms, 30 supported flats, and 46 independent affordable rental flats across the three cities.

Shettleston Housing Association

We are a community-controlled housing association providing quality affordable homes and related services for the people and communities of Shettleston, Greenfield, Springboig and Sandyhills.

The Association operates an open access Allocations System, which provides the opportunity for anyone, aged 16 years or over to apply and be placed on the waiting list and have their application assessed.

Shire Housing Association

Formed in 1997, Shire Housing Association Ltd is a successful progressive housing association based in Cumnock, East Ayrshire. We currently own and manage 964 homes across East Ayrshire, provide estate maintenance services to around 900 owners and have an annual turnover of over £5million. Committed to delivering our Business Plan Vision of “Great Homes, Great People, Vibrant Communities”, over the last 3-4 years the business has been transformed, and in 2021 we launched our new aspirational Business Strategy to build on this success.

Southside Housing Association

Southside Housing Association is a registered social landlord providing housing and a range of other services across the southside of Glasgow. We are community controlled which means our decisions are taken by a tenant controlled Management Committee. We are also a registered Scottish charity (Scottish Charity Number SC036009).

We have operated as a social landlord on the south side of Glasgow for over forty years. Originally established as Pollokshields Housing Association in 1971, our initial work was largely philanthropic in nature. Our early single unit refurbishments were driven by a desire to improve housing standards in the Pollokshields area.

Spireview Housing Association

At Spire View Housing Association we pride ourselves on providing great quality housing around Royston in the North East of Glasgow – in fact we have some of the lowest rents in the whole of Scotland.

Spire View owns and manages Roystonhill Community Hub which runs for the benefit and betterment of the Royston community and Beyond.

We operate in Royston an area in the North East of Glasgow, and we own and manage 557 properties, 13 of which are wheelchair adaptable, and provide factoring services to 13 owners.

Thenue Housing Association

Thenue provides affordable homes for rent in Glasgow.

Most of our properties are available for general lets but 145 are retirement properties and 145 are specifically suited for persons with a disability or with support needs.

We are committed to developing, managing and maintaining a range of affordable, quality housing in sustainable communities. Working with our people, we aim to improve all our services and grow deep community roots.

Tollcross Housing Association

The Association currently owns and manages over 2200 houses and flats in Tollcross, Carmyle and Lilybank/Newbank.  We also provide factoring services to 506 residential and commercial owners.  In 2020 we set up a Subsidiary, Auchenshuggle Develops and this organisation manages the new 12 mid-market rented properties that were tenanted during October 2020.

Today, our aim remains consistent with that of the founders of our organisation: to improve housing conditions for the people who need our services; and day-to-day we work in a range of ways, with a variety of partners, to achieve this aim.

Trafalgar Housing Association

Trafalgar Housing Association was formed in 1990 with a stock transfer of 218 properties in Dalmuir from Clydebank District Council.
The Association completed a comprehensive 6-phase regeneration programme of that area in 2000. 

In 1998 we received a transfer of 180 properties in the Terraces area in Radnor Park, Clydebank and over the following 5 years we transformed that estate by building new houses and flats.

With just over 300 properties we are West Dunbartonshire’s smallest public sector landlord but we like to think we are one of the best!

Trust Housing Association

We are a national provider of housing, support and care services, offering over 3,600 homes and a range of support services.

Our properties are mainly for the over 60s, but we consider younger tenants with a support need. We also provide housing for people of any age. Our services are tailored to ensure tenants enjoy the right balance of flexibility and support to live as independently as possible. Over 40 years’ experience has taught us that people’s needs change over time too.

Ubuntu Women Shelter

At Ubuntu Women Shelter (UWS), we support Black and Minoritised women going through the immigration and asylum systems who have no recourse to public funds. We prioritise our women and they are the driving force behind all of our projects and strategic decision-making. As an accommodation provider, we are focused on fighting destitution as well as providing holistic and specialist services to the women we support.

Viewpoint Housing Association

We’re Viewpoint and we create joy in later years by managing a range of supported housing and care services for older people in Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife. It all started back in 1947 and our goals are the same today as they’ve always been - to improve the quality of life and wellbeing of our tenants and residents by encouraging independence, enabling choice and offering peace of mind in a safe and supported environment.

Although we specialise in making older people feel at home, we also welcome all sections of the community. To do this we own and manage a variety of different types of accommodation which are as diverse as the people who stay with us.

Waverly Housing

Waverley Housing is a Registered Social Landlord operating throughout the central Scottish Borders.

All our properties are general needs.  Waverley Housing has no houses specifically for special needs groups, albeit subject to grant funding from the Scottish Government, we can carry out some adaptations to help tenants to stay in their homes.

West Granton Housing Co-operative Ltd

West Granton Housing Co-operative Limited (WGHC) was formed in 1990 by residents of the West Granton area of north Edinburgh in order to provide new rented housing in an area dominated by low demand council housing. 

We currently have a stock of 372 general needs properties in North Edinburgh.
